You're looking at this wrong. It should not be done under the name of Atheism. That's not the role of a belief *or* a non-belief.

Organizations that help out the black community directly should be doing that, and whatever they believe should be irrelevant. Make sense?

But I have noticed Black Christians tend to be more conservative, more in line with White Fundamentalists, and they have a greater dislike for Black atheists than those of other religion. They have an "its either God or Satan" point of view even if the Atheist chooses neither. Its unfortunate that people really think that church congregations are the solutions to our problems. There are other ways to gather Black people as a community that a hot church with no fans where every sings Wade in the Water for an hour before a preacher gets up and screams about going to Hell for an hour. We as a people can do better.
