Vagrant Queen was based on a comic book that sold 1800 copies. I don't know why they thought that was something to build a franchise over.

to be fare killjoys and dark mater made it passed season 1
I'm not surprised about Vagrant Queen it had nothing going for it the lead had no charisma, the sets, special effects and fight choreography were shyt and they didn't even re-dub the actors playing aliens so they wouldn't sound like guys whose lines and breathing were being obscured by their rubber masks. I don't know if this show could've worked but those problems didn't help.

They would've had to give her a relatable personality and another black female character to interact with.
That show was ass.

They did let 12 Monkeys, Killjoys, and The Magicians tell a complete story and didn't cancel them prematurely. They look to do the same with Van Helsing and Wyonna Earp (don't watch either though).
It is a shame they didn't continue with Deadly Class
