placing the blame on the players while absolving yourself...won't be but too long before another Bulls coach loses the locker room again :francis:
I'm pretty sure we called this last year when he took over. It's only so long that rah rah shyt works on NBA players. He did all that extra shyt last year so the majority of the team is already hip to what he's about. They probably already see him as a joke tbh... especially with this awful start to this season. Now it's like he's this calm relaxed guy in the pressers, lol where did this 180 come from?

Imagine, buying into what Boylen is selling after a full training camp, then the season rolls around, and the rotations are trash, the defensive coverages are HS level, and you're losing to mediocre teams and teams without key players? What credibility does he hold in the locker room after being exposed from an Xs and Os standpoint? Then to compound things further, he goes and blames the players for their effort.

"I can't coach effort"

:gucci:

It's still early, he should take the, "I need to put the guys in the better position to win" stance/approach. Especially when he hasn't won or done shyt as a headcoach in the NBA to this point.

I remember last year, he compared himself to Pop w/o any bit of irony. Boylen & Garpax are all in the same boat of great self-entitlement and underserved egos. Cats legit think they're shyt don't stink and question why people are on their heads.

"I can't coach effort" sounds like a argument behind closed doors coming out to the public. Won't be surprised to learn boylen being challenged on his rotations defensive and offensive sets and him firing back with they work and laying the blame on the failed execution on the players.

How? Even if we make the playoffs, he's not leaving Los Angeles. Only way that'd happen would be if the bulls were contenders, and they are far from that.

AD is clearly impressionable and I'm sure his family is in his ear telling him to come to the Bulls. If we had a good gm and coach we would have a chance .

Why would his family Care where he plays? LA probably offers more opportunities to build gotta off court brand, and they are contending. There's no benefit of him coming here unless there are major changes in the front office and the bulls have all Stars on the roster and contending.

"KD isn't leaving Golden State for the Nets, no way"
"Clippers getting Kawhi? LOLOL yeah right"

What you fail to realize is that if you have a big city, and a competitive young fun team with a legit culture, you have a shot for big names, especially guys from here.

I been said the goal for this team would be to field a competitive team, showcase the talent that has been cultivated over the years, and get stars attention that way, opposed to just tanking for years, and freeing up capspace hoping somebody saves the team by signing.

AD is putting all this shyt out there, and it's not the first time he's floated the idea of coming home out there either. He's legit giving the Bulls a year to get their shyt together to actually be a viable option when he hits free agency, but unfortunately, a 2-5 start and Jim Boylen isn't going to cut it.

Imagine how much louder these chirps would be if the Bulls were 6-1 right now, with the East for the most part wide open outside of maybe 2 teams.

This is chess, not checkers

the clippers were always the favorites for kahwi , only Canadians/laker fans thought otherwise

and ad forced his way to a Lakers team that had the worst record in the nba since 13-14 and had missed the playoffs 6 years straight And wanted to go to the Knicks who were just as bad

the bulls record, coach and gm has nothing to do with it.dude placating a bunch of local kids and y’all taking that bullshyt serious

The Bulls wont get a meeting with him because they haven't positioned themselves to be a viable option for a player of Anthony Davis' caliber. Which has everything to do with the first sentence in your last paragraph

dude, garpax been at this for 15+ years now. still haven't landed a top tier free agent in their prime. and given the status of the front office and coaching, combined with the bulls abysmal record, who are u expecting to come here in the near future?

U think the bulls are gonna get their act together by this summer???? :aicmon:
