Some of these cornball cacs want to be the cool guy in the local industry clique who knows the smart black dude or the smart black chick who writes good code. Step one is to be that smart black dude or chick, step two is to start your own when the place you ate from inevitably tanks.

How is not wanting to deal with white supremacy fear? That's like saying someone scared of gay ppl because they don't want to go to a gay nightclub

Because you live in America. You deal with white supremacy every day. Not taking a job because there's too many "white people" is like not wanting to go outside because there's too much air out there.

So it really depends on where you go. I interviewed with one company...It was a job search engine (not too hard to figure out).

Basically it was good until I had the on site interview. I ran into a bunch of passive/aggressive white males. My boss would have been this scrawny kid probably 2-3 years younger than me.

Tough interviews but not any tougher than I experienced. I recall the Director interviewing me. He walked in, shook my hand, and started barreling questions. Barely made eye contact. :francis:

Not a place I'd want to work with if I had to deal with that sort of disdain from cacs.

Anyways I got a job offer elsewhere with a very good fit. I'm usually the minority in these roles since you find very few of US in senior roles so I'm used to it. Most of the time I've been treated very positively but there are certain places to AVOID. Check Glassdoor for sure.

That's not a race issue, that's a corporate culture issue.

Like you said, check the reviews from Glassdoor about those companies. You'll see how many people complain about work / life balance and shytty work conditions. I'm willing to bet that most of those people filling out those reviews are white.

I'm guessing your a cac or cac masquerading as a black man with your refusal to acknowledge workforce discrimination of black men
