I should mention the pillow guy has to pay $5 million to some guy who accepted his challenge to prove rigging didn’t take place. He also faces two billion dollar suits by dominion and Smartmatic. :heh:
Mike Lindell is hilarious to me

He sounds like he’s in the AWA managing Nick Bockwinkel :mjlol:

Remember when Rubio and all those rethugs said Trump would take down the party (this was when Trump was in 2016 primar). It's all coming true :blessed:

Trump's bullshyt is bringing down Fox, the republican party, everything. It's an amazing thing to see. :blessed:

My grandma watches fox news all day. She's one of those old people that is super conservative. I talked with her about the lawsuit and Tucker getting fired, and she was juelzing about well, the morning part of Fox News is real journalism. I was like, they lied to you all night. She's like, all of the cable news channels lie through their teeth. I was like, well only one had to pay $787 million for lying. I was like, you are watching basically trash. And she said, my remote doesn't work, so that's why I watch Fox News all day. :dead:

Like Jon said, “a debate show would be great, what you are doing is not debate, it’s theater”..

I actually was in college at the time and watched it religiously, it wasn’t as over the top as Stewart made it out to be. He had an agenda. The show was reasonably informative and presented two sides, and in cancelling it we just got more single pundit stuff in return.

That isn’t true, crossfire was the OG, it was around in the 80s

I never liked how Stewart took them down in the sense that crossfire always had some semblance of both sides, and it ended up getting replaced by one-sided, biased shows

I think a debate style show concept today would actually be beneficial if it was done in a tasteful way. Stewart was fighting the wrong battle
two partisans yelling at each other is what people like on TV today. Stewart was right because it wasn’t substantive, just like watching :skip: and :unimpressed: go it at isn’t substantive.

The lawsuit that evidently triggered this is not the one I referred to from 2020

it's an entirely different one from this year by his former employee who booked the guests

Did you actually watch the show? Because I did. There was no yelling. Most people who criticize the show haven’t seen an episode and are basing their opinion off Stewart’s hyperbole

yelling was hyperbole, but those shows were not substantive and just added noise.
