MSNBC had a PTI type politics show that I found watchable but it got canned. The names slip my mind, maybe mark something and the bald dude with the wu tang lap top

Tucker probably gets a shyt ton from spotify for a podcast and lemon links back with cuomo

That show would bring in money though. I dont think it would fit bloomberg but perhaps HBO goes for it

Edit: that show might have been on bloomberg I cant remember. It was linked with the show The Circus
Hannity and Comes was the og of that model, followed by crossfire with tucker before Jon Stewart absolutely destroyed that show for good

This is huge news, this has to be fallout from the dominion lawsuit

Mediamatters matters paints this with a tilt, of course, to get people fired up to complain to their providers about it. But the reality is it's up in the air if Fox can get the same sort of money they're getting now, much less more.

Expect a few more big heads to leave as the company gets a little leaner and probably restructures a lot.

Dominion absolutely isn't helping, of course.

That isn’t true, crossfire was the OG, it was around in the 80s

I never liked how Stewart took them down in the sense that crossfire always had some semblance of both sides, and it ended up getting replaced by one-sided, biased shows

I think a debate style show concept today would actually be beneficial if it was done in a tasteful way. Stewart was fighting the wrong battle

You're right on the timeline, but hannity and comes blew the style up.

Crossfire had already gone in that direction, thus the takedown of tucker. It was already a dog shyt show and was lowest tier at the time. Fox just went lower.

Like Jon said, “a debate show would be great, what you are doing is not debate, it’s theater”.

That “debate” concept has ruined cable sport shows. People shouting at each other and making contrived arguments just for the sake of arguing. :scusthov:
