Sounds like he’s in deep legally
I read somewhere else it was him calling Sydney Powell a c*nt, and the having that leak, was at least part of the reason for his firing. Apparently Fox News is really sensitive about that given previous issues they’ve had with sexual harassment. I never use the word c*nt, though it’s a funny word, but isn’t she actually a c*nt by definition :russ: the one time Tucker tells the truth it gets him fired :dead:

You're right on the timeline, but hannity and comes blew the style up.

Crossfire had already gone in that direction, thus the takedown of tucker. It was already a dog shyt show and was lowest tier at the time. Fox just went lower.
Stewart was right in his assessment of that iteration of Crossfire, I had no problem with him calling it for what it was. Not a lie was told.

Cool perspective. Basically says that the face doesn’t matter, Fox itself is the draw/main star. And I think that’s correct. Talks about how every major star, from oreilly, Glenn beck, Meghan Kelly, once they become too much of a headache- they are immediately cut off and Fox doesn’t end up losing viewers.

Roger Ailes, the original architect of Fox, who founded the network in 1996 with Murdoch, explained its show-making philosophy to Andrew Ferguson of the Weekly Standard in 2017. The subject was the early evening news-talk program, The Five, which in recent months has outperformed even Carlson’s show. Ailes explained how he filled the slot vacated by solo artist Beck with an ensemble of pundits — building a sort of Archies talk show for the Fox audience. The Five would be performed by five commentators at 5 p.m. Get it?

“Go around the table,” Ailes told Ferguson. “Over on this end, we’ve got the bombshell in a skirt, drop-dead gorgeous. … But smart! She’s got to be smart, or it doesn’t work.” Next, he said, “We have a gruff longshoreman type, salty but not too salty for TV. In the middle there’s the handsome matinee idol. Next to him we have the Salvation Army girl, cute and innocent —but you get the idea she might be a lotta fun after a few pops. On the end, we need a wiseguy, the cut-up.”

When Ailes finally cast the show with his types, Ferguson writes, he summoned them to his office and had them stand in a semi-circle around his desk to explain why he was calling the show The Five. “‘I’m calling it The Five because you are types, not people. You all are about to become very famous, and you’re going to make a lotta money. A lotta money. But don’t ever forget. Right behind you I’ve got somebody exactly like you ready to take your place. So don’t fukk up.”

He gonna be like Cuomo in his basement crying about being fired from CNN. Once you lose the mainstream media eyeballs on you, you are basically a nonentity in media
Tucker is not some national superstar the platform he was on was the draw. You can put anyone in the chair and garner the same views all you have to do is be fake populist republican and the audience will be right back
