also, i dont know why people are surprised. he was on most peoples' short-list of expected names.

i also dont know why people would even want to see john cena or bautista in AEW.

I’m gonna tell you what I don’t get.

Not for nothing, everyone and the WWE stans always says that everyone in the E are major stars in the world of pro wrestling and are huge huge stars no matter who they are. Just as long as they are on the roster.

So now when anyone leaves, I don’t know why all of a sudden them same people try to down play them or this case true to scoff at this and say “well this isn’t a huge star”

It’s like you can’t move the goal post or say something one moment then something different the next.

its cuz those types of people are fanboy groupies.

brainwashed by WWE narratives growing up, and still stuck on WWE because its a staple of their 2nd childhood.

cant really expect any reasonable logic from these types.

what really gets me is that people have the audacity to act surprised that christian was the surprise signing.

he was clearly on the short-list of expected names, alongside angle & rvd.

only WWE Universe marks were expecting or even wanting to see a john cena.

as for cm punk, i can understand people being dissappointed that he wasnt the guy, but i think they wouldve hyped it up more, if it were him.
sidenote: cm punk is basically this generation's ultimate warrior in this aspect. people getting their hopes up for a decade. at least warrior had a few brief returns to keep the juice flowing(no pun).
