My girl and I started watching WWF from Survivor Series '99 until January 19th 2004...
2000 was easily our favourite year .. The Rock having to deal with HHH's bullshyt, finally getting the strap at Backlash. But what made it was that the mid card was still great too, storylines were funny or interesting, still had crash holly doing his hardcore shyt, shyt was lit
We loved 2001 but the invasion was average... Best thing about 01 was no HHH for basically all of it
2002 is when it really started to get shytty .. the nwo
The half assed brand split with the too nikkas just goin' on either show... Rock going to Hollywood smhh Babyface lesnar
2003 was fukking terrible ... HHH rain of terror, Goldberg, Raw was basically unwatchable, smackdown was good tho until Steph left and Heyman was GM
But yeah.. we got to January 04 and we looked at each other like "why the fukk are watching this trash still?!"

Watching Clash Of Champions 2 this morning. 1988, the year I was born. The main event of Arn and Tully versus Sting & Dusty 
Schiavone on commentary. Almost the entire main event is in AEW today and on weekly with Dusty’s son.

Next Nitro Sting and Luger fukk up Flair and Bret and Hoegan come in to save him. In 99 WCW was just shuffling around all the old established top guys between heel and face.
Nash was such a useless piece of shyt that whole year. Out of shape walking to the ring all slow whenever he wanted, freestyling promos booking shyt and wrestling like shyt.
Midlife crisis pimp Macho Man was embarrassing yet entertaining at the same time. He deserved a longer title run than 1 day. He wins the title, loses it to Hoegan the next night then goes into a feud with…Dennis Rodman???

I don't think Savage really gave a fukk at that point and just went w/the program since '99 would be his final year wrestling.

I'm currently watching the second season of Ruthless Aggression and that match between Rock/Goldberg and man was that match bad. I wish we could have had Hollywood Rock longer than what we did.

The Hollywood Rock episode was GOAT, and It's a reminder of what great things can happen when you go with something instead of forcing something. No company should ever do what the IWC wants, but you should at least listen to the people that pay to come to the show.

Why Rodman though? They had enough wrestlers to give him a better feud than that. Why not use him in an intense feud to put over one of the younger stars they were starting to try and push in 99?
