2 things are just super disappointing about the Peacock wwe network.
The search is awful. I typed in Lex Luger other day and it pulled up 2 things wrestling related. That's just awful.
The other thing is the lack of match markers. It's amazing they could go thru and insert commercial spots after matches, but couldn't at least put a marker there.

I don’t even remember this heel commissioner Flair beefing with slow face-turning Hoegan shyt from 99. The whole angle is so 
Can’t believe they were putting this bullshyt up against Austin vs. Rock.
Benoit and Malenko as a tag team were short-lived but they came across as a devastating duo in matches…like an upgraded Arn and Tully.
Scott Steiner was the 2nd most believable crazy loose cannon ever after the GOAT Brian Pillman.

Nobody wanted to cheer for Hoegan hulking up and doing the finger pointing thing at Flair while he put his hands up and yelled “NOOO!!” after 96-98.
Then they took DDP, a popular face and gave him a tainted victory for his first title run and made him a tweener.

This early-mid 99 Nitro era is so rudderless. There’s world championship matches every week, often 3 or 4-ways, but there’s no compelling angles around any of it.
It’s the same combo of 6 wrestlers…Flair, Goldberg, Nash, DDP, Hoegan, and Sting and all they do is walk out during each other promos and just start adlibbing some bullshyt about “YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME! YOU WANT A MATCH FOR THE TITLE TONIGHT!” There’s no storyline lol. And except for Goldberg they’re all 40+ or pushing 40.
Nash is just booking himself, making himself strong as fukk and walking out to the ring whenever he feels like it and doing whatever.
Flair going to a mental hospital was so cringe.
Everyone’s acting like a face/heel tweener and the crowd is just not engaged and often doesn’t know who to cheer for.
I kinda fukk with pimp Macho Man tho lol.

'96 and early '97 was some of the best shyt ever. Fell off a cliff after that though
I've been saying for a long time that the Nash booked Spring/Summer 1999 is actually the worst period of WCW. It still has better random matches in a vacuum than the Russo era, but it is so lifeless and dull. There is absolutely no direction of thought put into anything.
