The Taker doc was good but it lost all its emotional pull because we know how the story played out. I mean marks are probably eating it up and sobbing right now after the last episode but each episode was basically

"Idk if I can do this anymore"
"I will give it one last shot to see if I can"
Taker has either an average or atrocious match
"I'm done."
"I still have that fire though and no one but me can tell me when to go out."
Vince calls Taker for another go around.

Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

The documentary was great as far as behind the scenes access though. Him wearing the Blue Lives, Don't Tread on Me, and Trump shirts especially during this current climate was horrible though. But again, the wrestling bubble is never really affected by social media outcry or fallout.

I appreciate the effort with the documentary though. Obviously they started filming it years ago thinking Taker would have a clear cut finale by now. But Taker is like Flair and Hogan in that he's going to keep going until his body literally can not go anymore. So I applaud them making it as if that last episode was his swan song, but when the prior four episodes was literally him always saying he was done and then coming back, only the mark of marks will believe Taker's last match was vs AJ.

There will be a special edition part 6 next year where Taker talks about returning because "I owe it to the fans to do it in front of them".
He wore a Trump shirt?

Everybody knows FUBU Nash, but watching April 99 Raws I'm noticing that FUBU Test was a thing too, I've seen him wear a couple FUBU jerseys so far.

Man these chairshots in Spring 99 were brutal. On the first SD Undertaker gives Vince a really hard chairshot and on the Raw before that Austin CRACKED JBL.

What's absolutely nuts to me is that guys always say "Well we didn't know about brain damage then what we know now", but dementia pugilistica/punch drunk was a well known thing as early as the 1920s for boxers and wrestlers that suffered repeated blows to the head. These dudes act like CTE is a brand new discovery because it started getting more focus over the past few years, when the name got changed from DP to CTE in the damn 1940s. And even take away all that shyt and fukking children know getting hit in the head isn't good. You know when you get fukking rocked and feel like shyt for days that that's damage and it's not good. They just don't want to admit that they didn't want to look like pussies putting their hands up, as if it isn't the natural instinct for everyone to try to block something careening at your head.

My biggest :mjtf:random Foley match was the out of the blue match as Mankind against Carlito at one of the Taboo Tuesdays. 2005 or 2006.
