They really had Shamrock come out on Raw and call Taker Mark 
The whole Taker has gone too far into his character angle was prime Russo era meta booking garbage. Thank God WCW picked him up when they did because Raw was going down the fukking drain in 99. They would've fell off hard if he was still around in 2000.

God WM 11 is as good as the build would dictate:
Allied Powers vs Harris Bros - DUD
Razor vs Jarrett - DUD
Taker vs Bundy - TRIPLE DUD ( bonus points for it ending in a LEAPING LARIAT and Bundy immediately rolling out of the ring and storming to the back almost before the 3 count was even finished
)
Owen/Yoko vs Smoking Gunns - A little above dud, mostly because the Gunns had cool double team moves that Owen bumped big for, also for the sound Mr. Ass made when Yoko hit the banzai drop
Bret vs Backlund - Fine from a psychology stand point, but boring, no intensity, way too short for such a match. Piper's inclusion was completely pointless. This was like a 10 minute TV match.
HBK vs Diesel - Quite good. Definitely the HBK show, but Nash for sure kept up his end of the match. People always conveniently ignore that when Nash had a good opponent, he could have a good to great match, but he had 3 guys his entire title reign to work with that were worth a shyt: Bret, Shawn, Owen (kinda). Right after he loses Bret and HBK as opponents and gets sucked into a vortex of trash with Sid, the Million Dollar Corporation, and Mabel with a brief bit of Bulldog who couldn't have a good match against anyone who wasn't a family member during this period.
LT vs Bam Bam - About as good as you could hope it to be for a non-wrestler involved.
Somehow it still might not be as bad as the worst shyt at WM 10. Plus column: MONGO, it's under 2 1/2 hours.

Scanning through the Dec 01 Smackdown shows where Rock had the mini Test feud and Taker heeled and became Hardcore Champion..forgot he kicked Lita's ass...lol
