They're usually pretty fun. You generally get either more old school matches with guys really taking their time to work shyt that they'd never get to do on TV or comedy stuff you'd also never see on TV.

Two months ago, there were rumors that had surfaced that WWE had no current plans for their UK division, until the U.K. Championship Special aired on the WWE Network. On today’s installment of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke on the topic & indicated that WWE has no immediate plans for the division.

As most of you are aware, most of the UK stars such as: Tyler Bate, Wolfgang, Pete Dunne& Trent Seven to name a few; have been working indie events for quite some time now, even after working a few shows on WWE TV. The word is that no-one has been informed of the plans for the division and the original idea was to have a weekly show, but that idea has been sidelined & no dates have been set for the show.

Edge & Christian’s WWE Network show may have been cut after an entire second season was already filmed. On today’s installment of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer confirmed that WWE has decided to end the show. Edge & Christian also stated over their podcast that it may have been too pricey for the WWE.

Also, a game show that R-Truth was set to host has been cancelled as well. It was reported that the show was in the works, but now it is clear that it will not be coming to fruition. This all in the midst of Talking Smack being cancelled, Renee Young’s “Unfiltered” being cancelled, WWE cutting pyro among many other things that they have decided to deem unneeded.

Those budget cuts.

Man, when the Network started, people bytched about how all the original content was non-wrestling shyt. And now they're cutting it and people are complaining all over the internet, when they didn't want it and didn't watch it to begin with.

With the UK shyt...it was only there to compete with the WOS revival, which fell through immediately. Without it, there's no need to rush anything, and all of the talent they used besides Bate and Dunne sucked anyway. The test taping they did for the UK weekly series was dog shyt. Creaky ass ring, bad lighting, fans in lawn chairs.

Watching SummerSlam 1990 and even as a youngin I still can't believe they tried to pass off that we can't tell Ax and Smash apart when we've been telling them apart for years. They didn't even paint their faces the same or have the same hairstyle when they added Crush :mjlol:

Edit: only in wrestling you can see Bad News Brown's sewer rat chilling backstage followed with Jake Roberts' snake Damien relaxing in the shower and it being normal :pachaha:

Just watched the latest Bring it to the Table ep that seems to have gotten alot of negative feedback. So this show is basically a straight shoot now? Talking about the real heat with Sasha/Bliss on some Bret/Shawn stuff, Sasha's booking, the Enzo bus incident, amongst other things. Little to no kayfabe.

And they cancelled Steve Austin show for the same reasons, and Talking Smack to a lesser extent (which atleast had part kayfabe in there.)

This is too funny. It's basically if the Observer had a TV show. WWE have their own in-house dirtsheet show now :dead:

I had forgotten how great Angle/Austin at Summerslam 2001 was

Steve+Austin+superplex+to+Kurt+Angle.gif
Kurt+Angle+backdrop+to+Steve+Austin+on+floor.gif
Kurt+Angle+moonsault+to+Steve+Austin.gif

The story of Austin being his most vicious and knowing he still can't beat Angle, while Angle is a bloody mess after being rammed into the post about 8 times, kicking out of multiple stunners, because he can't let the WWF down. Austin breaking out the Million Dollar Dream, then resorting to blatantly trying to get disqualified because he can't keep Kurt down, going through 3 different refs before Nick Patrick comes out to make the pin when Kurt had hit the Olympic Slam...only to DQ Austin. Lol. All time classic WWE main event. I'd even argue on the level of Austin/Rock at WM 17.:blessed:

Also on the show:

I've always wondered what RVD was going for there? Did he really think he could get that high to spin kick Jeff? RVD was (is) amazing but that shyt flat out defies gravity. Or maybe Jeff was meant to let go and get caught in mid air?

Idk, right after he gets in place for Jeff to land on him, so maybe the spot was supposed to be RVD misses, Jeff swings and drops a splash on him.

Gorilla Monsoon saying he's got word that WrestleMania VII is officially the most bought PPV ever... during the PPV :mjlol: Vince was on some good stuff when he fed that line :dead:

What's so bad about that? People preordered PPVs a lot, Meltzer right after each PPV would usually have preliminary estimates of buys.

Even with the pre-orders, just to put that statement out there as fact during the actual PPV without a final count just seemed audacious. And then it didn't even do as much as the WrestleMania the year before or the Royal Rumble a couple months earlier (400,000 vs. 560,000 vs. 440,000). And they said most bought ever for all PPVs when Holyfield just did 1 million a few months earlier. It just seemed to be the most random thing to mention and lie about during a Savage and Warrior match.
