@stro You have a gif of Sting telling Hogan "If you screw me, i'll get ya"?
I don't think so. I don't remember him saying that to Hogan. I do remember him saying that explicitly to Flair before Flair turned on him at Halloween Havoc 1995, though. Don't think I have a gif of it.

I really don't wanna defend Hogan but after like the first year or two his matches fell into a formula and I'd have to guess Vince said just keep going with it. But, there are certain matches sprinkled in where he deviates from the formula and they are pretty good.. matches with Macho, Piper, his cage match with Bossman.

I was watching Survivor Series '89 the other night and it was years since I saw any of the show. Million Dollar Man actually had Hogan beat clean like twice in the match and Jake had to save Hogan from elimination. It's the little surprises like that, that I love.

Give me a specific date and I'll look it up for you. I remember Hogan coming back in the black and white in Spring/early Summer 1999, then in the red and yellow in late summer 1999, but I can't pinpoint when he went back to the NWO stuff after that. I remember the Sting/Hogan feud with Sting turning heel while Hogan was in the red and yellow, but that didn't last long at all.

Oh for sure. The Hogan formula match was established in his AWA run when he really blew up with Hulkamania. Even in the earliest days of his return in 1984, he stuck pretty closely to it in the WWF. If you want to see non-Hogan formulaic matches from 1984 until he turned heel (and even then he stuck to a pretty specific formula), you'll need to check out his Japan work (which basically grinds to a halt after the middle of 1984 outside of a handful of NJ/SWS shows and that AJ/NJ/WWF show in 1990). Even when not an explicitly Hogan Formula match, it still was pretty similar to a normal Hogan match beyond him doing more technical stuff. If you really want to see Hogan doing non-usual Hogan stuff, you'll need to check out 1980-1983 NJPW.)

This is the only Sting gif I have on that show:

I do have in my write up that Sting threatened Hulk if he'd turn on him, but not a gif of said moment.

Just got done watching this gem. This was a great lil tv match that I'm pretty sure is largely forgotten. I was surprised by how much offense Eddie got in considering the run Lesnar was on during this time. It was pretty much back and forth. It took place on the 11-7-02 Smackdown, the same episode as the 2/3 falls match between Angle/Benoit vs Edge/Mysterio. Now I'm watching the Smackdown episode following this one and the main event is Angle versus Benoit one on one :wow:... damn the quality wrestling we were getting back then was unreal. Took the shyt for granted like a mug.

That also happens for The Demon. God Of Thunder shows up on at least one Nitro or PPV instead of the dubbed theme. To this day, Positively Kanyon still has DDP's real theme at BATB 2000 when DDP's theme is dubbed for 3 years of WCW TV prior.
