Imo, Tony Schiavone is the best announcer ever. Dude sold everything with 100% conviction no matter how terrible it was. Even JR can't claim that, as he'd make it pretty clear when he was not enthused with shyt. My recaps of all Nitro/Thunders led me for a profound appreciation of Tony, which only grew when hearing him call shows that were actually good.

I get WCW was face heavy but nobody was trying to boo DDP. He did a hell of a job getting them to though and putting him with Bam Bam helped.

DDP's heel turn in 1999 was terrible. He literally had no reason for his turn. He was out for a few weeks after Steiner beat his ass, then he came back and was heel with no explanation. And once he turned heel, he reverted to what was good as a heel...in 1986.

Hogan wanted to be a cool face/heel :francis:

He did good with what he had to work with. I believe Sting, Goldberg, and DDP never should've went heel but once Hogan & Nash wanted to jump back on the cool babyface bandwagon it really just left Flair and Bret(and i got no idea what he was doing at the top of 99) on the heel side.

Then Nash ended up turning 4 more times or some shyt :snoop:
