Yup... I never understood why "wrestling fans" wanted the Network to fail so bad... like ANTICIPATING its demise...
You get new content, tons of old content, PPVs basically for free... why the hell did anyone actually want this to NOT work? So they could just stick to Youtube accounts that could get snatched any day and unreliable streaming?
folks really wanted it to fail in hopes Vince would push new peopleAnother thing I don't get is people who would mock people for paying for The Network. $10 a month for access to classic wrestling content in great quality with a setup like Netflix? It doesn't get any better. The price is a steal.
It's a bad coincidence but I found it funny that on the last Raw before Brian Pillman dies Vince McMahon actually says "hopefully that's the last we'll ever see of him" about Pillman.

the crowd for the opening match of Summerslam 98 (Dlo vs Venis) is louder than the main event in WWE todayI've been downloading some old school Raw episodes....like VHS copies not edited or updated. I just watched the Canadian Stampede for the 1st time since it originally aired and GOT DAMN the crowd was LOUD for the main event. actually the crowd was into the entire PPV, but the main event
