According to sources, WWE NXT Diva brooke">Dana Brooke is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury.
As seen on WWE's "Breaking Ground" show, the company shot an "injury angle" with Asuka to explain why she didn't appear on any of the NXT live events in the UK. Some were upset that the company ran an angle on a show that is supposed to be 100% unscripted.
If she has an injury and can't perform...why pretend someone else did it? Just say she's healing from nagging injuries...doesn't need to be anything specific.

I mean, I suspected as much as the focus seemed to lay heavily in getting a couple of people over (Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley) as well as the whole super obvious "Even for a former football pro, getting ahead in this business isn't that easy" story they're running with Tino Sabbatelli, but geez.
Damn sure can't forget this..lol@the big red X....this was why Warrior got the open challenge title shot against Honkey Tonka Man for the IC title.

They haven't referenced the injury coming from training with Asuka in any of the programming outside of BG, so if it's a work they're not doing a very good job of working it. She has been incredibly vague with what's wrong though "it's my chest" "yeah, it's pretty serious"... gotta admit my first thought was that Asuka had put her ass straight through one of Dana's implants.
So you check out Backlash 2000, one of the greatest PPVs and PPV endings in HISTORY..then you check out the same month gathering in WCW of Spring Stampede 2000 and it's like a nightmare with that New Blood/Billionaire's Club weird $hit. They got gay ass looking Kidman as the top Sidekick with Bischoff and Russo with Torrie as a legit CONCUBINE A str8 up FLOOZY Russo is cussing up a storm as is Hogan yet Hogan is getting laid out and punked by BILLY KIDMAN? WTF

I'm almost done with Legends of Wrestling episodes... only about 3 or 4 left and I'm starting to get the withdrawals. They need a new season of these ASAP... some pure gold in there. Perfect format and these golden era dudes have got stories for DAYS.
All this content is the main reason that whole "Raw was shyt, cancel the Network" schtick is fukking weird to me... the best content the WWE create today (or at least make available) is on the Network, not going out on USA. Best option is to pay for the Network and give up Raw tbh.

Yup... I never understood why "wrestling fans" wanted the Network to fail so bad... like ANTICIPATING its demise...
You get new content, tons of old content, PPVs basically for free... why the hell did anyone actually want this to NOT work? So they could just stick to Youtube accounts that could get snatched any day and unreliable streaming?
