Monsoon did what he was supposed to do. He wasn't supposed to be a move by move scientific breakdown guy. Same way when Vince was on the mic, it's not the way the WWF was.

He kept everything at a broad level, injected emotion towards faces/heels to sell moments, and occasionally told you what a certain move or hold did.

And you're clearly missing the fact that Ventura did his job in playing the antagonistic character as a commentator. It's also the reason he and JR had ZERO chemistry when he jumped to WCW.

IDK i just found his style generic and off putting. And he always buried heels, which is a no no for babyface commentators

Monsoon was actually the first person to agitate me. :wow: I hated Hogan that much as a kid...

i liked Vince as a commentator, he showed great enthusiasm. Looking back at it its crazy how much commentary has changed and how Vince could name hold for hold.

What was fukked up about that Sid injury was after the fact they stomped him a couple off times :mindblown: ain't no way nobody in the back didn't see that and have the ref call off the match. fukk Russo for telling Sid he should do a move off the turnbuckle

Same thing Im saying, like damn this nikkas foot is legit dangling and they dont rush to the finish? Animal coulda came out there after the fact for the same effect:mindblown:

i agree on vince being good on commentary.
and I don't mean to :cape: for russo but he wasn't booking at the time.
