Lil Naitch almost lost a thumb.

A WWE referee's thumb was nearly SEVERED from his hand during a bloody incident in Saudi Arabia yesterday ... but it wasn't for stealing a falafel from the market -- he's just a klutz.

Charles Robinson was preparing the ring for a WWE event with other crew members before Friday's show in the Middle East ... when something went terribly wrong and his finger got caught in the turnbuckle.

The result ... a DEEP DEEP GASH that nearly sliced his thumb in half.

Fortunately for the ref, a WWE doc was on standby and managed to quickly stitch him back together again.

There are many people within WWE who are “incredibly amused” with the fact that TNA put their world championship on Eric Young, which is being seen as an obvious rip-off of WWE giving Daniel Bryan the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Nobody reportedly has an issue with Eric Young as a worker or a person, but WWE officials are now laughing at the booking of the entire angle and said it’s “ridiculous.”
I thought they weren't competition.

Seems weird that they even acknowledge their existence, much less have critiques of their storylines. That is if there is any validity to what Meltz is saying :lolbron:
They probably follow them for comedy purposes just like most of us. Eric young's rip off Daniel Bryan is sooooo blatant that it has to be discussed people in the business. It's too desperate and obvious for them not to notice.

I was wondering when we'd get to host another PPV. They've been having RAWs here quite often to a good response so I figured it was coming soon. :ahh: Going to EC and WM31 back to back.

if they do that i'm definitely at the Rumble :ahh:

- We noted before that an Evolution vs. The Shield War Games was being speculated on but that no arenas between now and SummerSlam would be able to accommodate a two-ring set up for the match. It turns out that the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, site of this year's Battleground event, is big enough for a War Games setup. :ohhh:

Murdoch crooned for the WWE Universe for a few more weeks, but was released in June 2008. Though he hasn’t been with WWE in nearly six years, any time he talks about his run, he smiles.

“I’m grateful,” he said. “WWE gave me an opportunity to do a number of things, to fulfill career goals and dreams, but also the opportunity to get in front of a national audience. I have nothing but good things to say about WWE and a lot of fond memories of being a champion, wrestling overseas and learning about the business from a different perspective.”

After leaving WWE, Murdoch competed in Japan and India, while maintaining a regular schedule on the independent circuit. He still enjoys getting in the ring and passing on the knowledge that Harley Race gave him.

He and his wife also purchased the bar he worked at before signing with WWE, turning it into T. Murdock’s Bar & Grill in Eldon, Mo. It was a perfect fit for him, as he likes to cook and learn about people.

“It was a great business,” he said. “It gave me an opportunity to meet the people in town and spend time with them on a one-on-one basis. That’s what I like to do, meet people and learn about them. It’s amazing how many people out there do such different things.”

He sold the restaurant last year, but Murdoch has a new gig that he enjoys.

“I’m working for a heavy equipment company, installing fiber optic cable,” he said. “I actually drill in the ground all day long. It’s a really nice paced job. I make good money and it keeps me at home, too. That’s what I’m really enjoying.”

Though he may be a surly brawler in the ring, Murdoch lights up when he talks about his family.

“I’ve got a beautiful wife, a daughter who’s 14, a freshman in high school, which I can’t believe,” he said. “And I have an 8-year-old son who’s starting tackle football this year.

“Work and family, that’s Trevor Murdoch today.”

:pachaha: more charisma than a lot of fully grown guys on the roster tbh

I'm down for a full grown midget division... I'd keep the majority of matches to Main Event or Smackdown (1 per show) but I think it could be successful as a switch in gears between matches, they're pretty much guaranteed to entertain if they treat them serious like they been, it makes them even funnier
