- Hulk Hogan, who is celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Hogan's Beach Shop this weekend, still has not signed a deal with TNA and has started to put feelers out to see what major bookings he can get. We noted this past week that Hogan has signed to appear at The Big Event convention on November 9th in Flushing, New York.

Hogan is reportedly training for a return to the ring with the idea that if WWE offers him something, he will be ready to go. Hogan has been "training like a mad man" with hopes of getting back in the ring for WWE.

he can barely walk, what is he gonna do in the ring? A special guest referee would be nice, or the manager that gets physical every now and then but wrestler hell no.... And as much as I hated his last run in WWE, id rather see him there then in the StrugglePact zone

- While Big Show vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title is being considered for the Survivor Series pay-per-view, they are also considering a major tag match main event for the show.

The Triple H vs. Big Show match may be saved for December's TLC pay-per-view to help with buys.

by Supreme Savings">Part-time WWE star "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson appears to be tapping into motivational speaking for his role in a new TNT TV show project called "The Wake Up Call."

Casting will take place in South Florida, according to a Miami New Times report, which coincides with Johnson also working on an HBO TV project that will film in Miami.

For "The Wake Up Call," the casting department is seeking ordinary people who are "are challenged by life and not able to find their way out," which could manifest itself in a variety of ways, according to the casting call.

The pitch is: "If you know someone who needs help in a major way, submit today! We are looking for every day Americans in life situations who are ready for a change of fate and a stroke of luck."

The casting call concludes: "With 4 a.m. wake-up calls, emotional reunions, and near-impossible goals, everyone who comes in contact with The Rock's electric sense of personal motivation will grow from it, finding inner strength and heart."
