WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler has been officially cleared to return to the ring after passing an imPACT concussion test backstage at this week’s RAW.

Ziggler has been out of action since he suffered a concussion after an errant kick by Jack Swagger at the May 7th SmackDown taping in Raleigh, NC. He appeared at this past weekend’s SmackDown events in Pennsylvania and New York, which hinted he may be returning soon.

He is scheduled to appear at tonight’s SmackDown tapings from Uniondale, Long Island, so it’s possible he’ll be wrestling on this Friday’s broadcast.

He only did a video at the tapings, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't wrestle until Payback, but color me cautiously optimistic about this. With all of the stuff about retrograde amnesia, I was afraid that there was a chance he might not wrestle again altogether. Of course, you never know with concussions.

- WWE Hall of Famer Edge used to be considered one of the best at putting together a match among his peers. Among the current group of WWE stars, CM Punk and Chris Jericho have that reputation but it's said that Daniel Bryan is starting to get it. Of the newer guys, Dean Ambrose is starting to develop a good reputation.

The McMahon Family Drama will be continuing past the Payback PPV next Sunday, according to a new line-up released for the June 17 Raw the night after the PPV.

According to MLive.com, WWE has added Mr. McMahon and Triple H to the line-up for the June 17 Raw. Also interesting is that C.M. Punk was not included in the new line-up released by WWE; Punk is scheduled to end his two-month hiatus at Payback.

WWE began a McMahon Family Drama story arc this week on Raw, which will play out throughout the summer as WWE attempts to counter the annual post-WrestleMania ratings swoon.

The story is that Triple H's "concussion injury" and subsequent concern from Stephanie and Vince McMahon will create a family conflict that will be a key part of three-hour Raws going forward.
