Undertaker was signficantly more successful than vader, made way more money, and was imo a much better worker, there isnt much of a comparison to me.
Taker was in no way a better worker than Vader, nevermind much better. No slight to Calaway either.

His WWF run wasn't the greatest (his house show runs ended up better than anything to make official tape there -- though his worst still never really crossed Taker's worst, even saying that), but, overall body of work, Vader has a case for being the greatest big man of all time in a ring, from his match construction to his versatility. His UWFI run alone >>>

Strong 8 for me

Taker is the epitome of professional wrestling. A strong gimmick, tolerable workrate, and can cut a promo as needed. However, dude has a bit of shortcomings with some of his gimmicks. I hated the American Bad Ass gimmick with the passion and some of his feuds were just wtf:mindblown:. Giant Gonzales for instance:hhh:. Beyond those issues, breh...the gong....the entrance:wow:...the jumping tombstone piledriver...Paul Bearer:wow:....so good:ahh:

He should never be forgiven for how absurdly unprofessional he was during the Invasion, while guys like Rock and Angle were killing themselves to make guys look strong, Taker would squash them in 3 minutes and give them absolutely nothing. Austin would be out there making an ass of himself every week, while Taker would intentionally make his opponents look bad. For a dude with his reputation of a locker room leader for so long, for him to go out and act like that for 6 months is ridiculous
Him and HHH did more damage to the wcw and ecw guys than Vince ever could

I gave him a 10. He was never my favorite but there's no denying he's an icon. Anyone that's even heard anything about wrestling knows who the Undertaker is. Only other ones I'd put on that level are Hogan, Flair, Rock and Austin. I'd say the vast majority of the population would know those 5 more than any other wrestlers

At least HHH has the excuse of killing dudes after what should have been the hottest angle ever was over. Taker did it right in the middle of it. Positive he would have no sold the spear and jackhammer in 2001.

Until Lesnar and general old age, when you heard that gong and the lights went out, unless you were a Tier 1 wrestler, that meant your ass.

Match of the Year (1998) vs. Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring :wow:

I STILL get chills watching that match. Spot monkey belly ache all you want, but I can count on one hand the number of wrestlers willing to do that shyt in 2017
