fukkin garbage. Only surpassed by Jeff Jarrett in terms of being an absolute failure of a wrestler. Just abhorrent. The second easiest 1 so far. He is a bad promo, a bad worker, a bad face, a bad heel, he fukkin sucks.

fukk buff bagwell. He and Vincent were why nobody respected nWo b team. -*****

I'll give Bagwell a 7.

He had charisma, a good look, and could be funny on the mic. He had chemistry with Scott Steiner, Scorpio, and Lex Luger in the dying days of WCW.

I'm absolutely disgusted :hhh::hhh::hhh:that there is a shytbagwell thread before ones for Ted DiBiase, Jake The Snake Roberts, Kane, Big Show, Rikishi, Stan Hansen, Christian Cage, Goldust, William Regal, Eddie Gilbert, Barry Windham, Bobby Eaton, Rick Steiner, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall.

My rating is Minus:hhh:

Didn't care for this joker on the mic at all

in the ring he was ok at best....he actually had short window (as buff bagwell) where he was hovering around the above average range until the steiners accidentally broke his neck..then it went downhill...no notable single matches to speak of though..actually had good tag team matches and chemistry with all the cats he held belts with..a rarity...shyt scorpio and bagwell was a favorite team of mine in WCW..the blockbuster was a cool finisher

whitebread marcus alexander bagwell got the face pops; buff bagwell was an upgrade and got serious heel heat...but mostly fueled by him legitimately being an arrogant chicken shyt and a momma's boy in real life..on top of that too much :wrist: flamboyance.. didnt forget some of his ring attire around that time :scust:

bagwell had too many personal failings to ever be a main event type guy but made his presence known on the midcard and was solid there,,.he did his job as a heel/face..one thing you can never say is he never failed to get a reaction out of the crowd..also one of the few wrestlers i feel 100% can beat up for real :russ:..give him a 4.5

Every time I look at this nygga I think of 2 cold Scorpio. Nuff said. 4 and that's it. I don't ever want to see a Bagwell match in my life again.

this was epic to watch...fukk wcw for only giving them a paper tag team title reign :camby:..stupid tapings in advance..1 day on TV; 20 days legit..still too damn short

Bagwell's best role was being one of Steiner's hos. So based on that alone, I give him a 5. His mic work was okay, his wrestling was okay (nothing flashy tho), his "buff daddy" look was decent imo. Obligatory +1 rating for the Blockbuster, 6.

"You're gonna FIRE Buff Bagwell? Are you kidding me?!"-Buff Bagwell

If Val Venis gets a significantly better rating, that proves wwf bias on here. They had a similar spot on the card and similar working skills, but Bagwell was over on a serious level.

Mic-7. Basic, not bad. I would give him a 5, but his out of ring shoot interviews are an easy 10 for the comedy in his lack of self awareness, while thinking he's very self aware. The "promos" hes cut in shoot interviews on Punk and Samoa Joe were funny as fukk.

Star Quality- 8. He wasnt a star in the wwf, wasnt really given a chance to be. I think people forget how over Buff was in WCW though. In 98 WCW he got crazy pops when they would fake him turning face, and there were always a ton of Bagwell signs in the audience. He was perfect for an annoying heel midcard role, and could also be an effective underdog babyface against somebody like Steiner too.

Ring- 7. He doesnt have a bunch of classics, mostly because he was injured when he was at his hottesr and in his best storylines. He was always competent in the ring though, all his stuff looked good.

Overall-7

You know how a popular talking point about the nWo is that they were putting just about anybody in the group to get them over? Buff is the first dude I think of anytime I hear that :lolbron:He mildly entertained me when he was the Stuff in late WCW but I can't say I ever went out of my way to watch him or he has any memorable work besides that match with Booker that killed the WCW brand idea. 4 off GP
