I'm going with 8. Could work with just about anyone, but when he was off, he was OFF, had those dark years with the drugs and whatnot. When he was truly on, he was as good as anyone ever, imo. He took a giant leap up in 2002 when he got clean, but I've always felt like he was somewhat martyred by WWE when he died, and that has kind of increased his legacy more than it would have been naturally had he kept going a few more years and retired. But when he was at his best, he was basically untouchable. It's just a shame that his truly best didn't come out as often as it should have due to his issues. Even his clearly strung the fukk out periods are better than most guys' peaks.
