Eddie gets a 10.

One of the all-time greats.

Arguably the greatest pound for pound wrestler to ever do it.:ehh:

His catalog of matches are ridiculous & it spans over a decade.

His versatility allowed him to work any level on the card. low card to main event. Singles competition or tag team competition.

He could play a good face or heel & he had the knack to play the comical role.

He died in the midst of his popularity really growing & him really elevating to that main event level so we never got to see his prime fully play out.

Ten isn't high enough. Once he found his stride on the microphone, he was pure gold. He could do serious work and seamlessly flip between serious and comedic with little effort. He always felt believable in the ring thanks to an incredible ability to work with wrestlers of seemingly every size bracket and could market as both an underdog and the bridge to Latino wrestling fans thanks to so much of his identity in the ring being tied to his lineage and the pride he took in it along with his dad, his brothers, and his nephew. He could work with luchadors, he could wrestle the mat game with guys like angle or Benoit, he could fit in a brawling style, and he never felt out of place as the smaller guy facing guys like taker or Brock either. His connection to the crowd was like one I've ne we seen either. We've seen plenty of wrestlers get booked as a face and get booed out of the building. How many guys have we seen turn heel and the crowd simply refuses to boo them? He's the only example I can recall. In fact I would argue that they never really found a way to fill the void left behind when he died. An all time great if there ever was one :smugeddie:

Remember how they were dead-set on turning Eddie heel again Tajiri? He totally washed Tajiri, ending with him doing a brainbuster on top of a low-rider, and the only reason the crowd started booing is cause they realized how hard Eddie was trying to get boo'd :mjlol:then months later they realized how stupid that was and just turned Tajiri like they should have done in the first place

10. Personality, charisma, in ring ability, he had it all in spades. Worked his way to the top with an all encompassing style. Followed him from WCW to WWF and to watch his growth as a performer was a real treat. The only wrestling related death that brought actual tears to my eyes, it almost felt like I lost a relative. Me and my dad bonded watching wrestling, specifically Los Guerreros, which I attribute to why Eddy's passing moved me. A true legend and all time great to me, easily in my top ten of all time which reflects his rating.

it's hard not to call him a 10 when you've gotta nitpick his early promo work when he was fairly solid while given little WCW wise to bring him down to a 9/9.5

he's got enough strong promos banked to justify calling him a perfect wrestler.
As small as he was it was not difficult to picture him beating bigs because you KNEW he was crazy enough to actually fight one if he had to plus he'd outsmart them in the ring or be in the right place at the right time when a banana peel landed (Brock getting speared by an interfering Goldberg and him then pinning Lesnar)

It's not that Eddie Guerrero is a 10..hes the definition of a 10. I don't care about the early years on the mic..Austin did nothing on the Mic for years. Only person who was great on the Mic from day one was Randy Savage.

Eddie is supreme in the ring. He was 38 in 2005 carrying the WWE...just how AJ is these days. Gave an innovative Rey his best match when Rey was leaving everyone in the dust..outworked Angle and Lesnar when they were still competent in the ring.

Got several great character moments..even those stricken from the record by unseen events. He's the man and he was the best thing in pro wrestling when he died.
