Had to scroll back to see what I gave DDP, and gave that to Booker T as well. Booker T, DDP, and Rey Mysterio were 3 of my top 5 WCW wrestlers at the time, so I have nothing but I marks for Booker T here. Dude could basically do everything. Was very well rounded, a very good move-set that he really never had to change up throughout his career. Awesome theme, simple yet distinctive finisher, could talk, dope attires, could work with anybody, and could do any type of gimmick/character, whether comedic or serious. Only knock on Booker T I have is you probably can't point to definite classic matches he's had, just very good matches. The Best of 7 Series from WCW, his feud with Christian, matches with Kurt Angle, Austin, Scott Steiner, various Harlem Heat matches, and even his matches teaming with Goldust. The G.I. Bro gimmick should have never been brought back in WCW, but WCW was pretty much a mess all around at that time. Multiple people since 2003 (including myself) have talked about the Booker/HHH feud in much detail, so I won't even go into any more detail about how much of a travesty of him not winning at WM that was. Booker was nuclear hot and the fans were begging for him to win, but HHH gonna HHH and WWE gonna WWE. King Booker was a tremendous gimmick and was probably the best thing going in the WWE at that time when the WWE was pretty bad. He was most definitely a highlight then. I'd even say he had a solid TNA run. The Main Event Mafia stable was both
and
. Booker pretty much accomplished everything you could possibly want as a wrestler, especially for a black wrestler that is basically starting from scratch. He's doing his thing with Reality of Wrestling as well, trying to put people on. No complaints here, Booker is probably THE GOAT black wrestler, and an all around legend in general.
