For ring work I'd probably give him an 8 or 9. Brocks always been good/great in ring. Even if he wasn't showing it much during his most recent world title run. I still say his first world title run after he beat Cena is probably the best of this era all things considered.

Favorite matches would be his matches against Taker, Kurt, Cena, Eddie etc

I'd say he was underrated on the mic when he wasn't with Heyman. He wasn't the rock or anything but he was always funny in a way and since he was Brock Lesnar it's not like his voice could really take anything away from him. Some of his best promo moments were when he'd just say little random funny shyt during this last run like "party's over grandpa" or "say something stupid, Paul" or "I don't give a shyt about your kids"

His gimmick has pretty much always been the same but it never really had the chance to get old in his first run and by the time his second run rolled around he was so legit it didn't matter.

Tbh I missed the majority of his first run as I didn't really watch wrestling in high school or college

I gave him a 9 but I'll probably switch it to 10 if I can. I wish he had more mic time and had a more diversified move set in his recent run though

10. Yeah, after Hell in a Cell with ‘Taker in 2015, he was phoning it in (with some exceptions like the Joe match which I liked), but every wrestler has their bad years. In a world with lots of big guys, he’s been built as the most destructive force of them all and with him it’s actually believable.

He could work with anyone at any size and have an entertaining match like Big Show in the early 2000s at his fattest or smaller guys like Benoit and Guerrero.

Promo wise, he wasn’t great or good, but if you did pretape stuff like before his match against Cena then he was gold.

Plus you don’t see any threads about Gorillas vs. 100 Undertakers do you? :lolbron:

Lesnar is a 7.5. The last run had unintentional comedy but nothing really good. Mostly squash matches with a manager. His real run during his first two years. Overpushed too but he had stand out encounters with Rocky, Taker, Benoit, Angle, and of course Eddie. The Japan stuff was a joke. Should be the greatest big man worker but he isnt and was never close to being that.

I give him a 9

His in ring work is great
He is an excellent entertainer
He has a cool finisher
Has created some good catch phrases
The way he destroyed cena was one of the best moments in recent history
The shocking upset of taker is top 5 best surprise ever
I have to take a point away for mic work, he’s decent but he needed Heyman to really get him to that hall of fame level

Did y’all really think his 2015 feud against taker was that good? I hardly remember it. Most here seemed to not care for it at the time

Brock's a 9 or a 10. Outside of mics skills (which were EHHH but he got his point across), he really had everything you wanted in a wrestler. Size, speed, athleticism, legitimacy, general skill, and always came across like a big deal. His debut came out of nowhere, just wrecking dudes. I remember seeing that Triple Powerbomb for the first time, and it was amazing. Instantly was hype for him to be in a video game (SD HCTP GOAT :wow:

). The F-5 is still a dope finisher all these years later, even with people practically using Create A Finishers as signature and regular moves now. Dude has an endless supply of good-great matches, Angle, Rey, Benoit, teaming with Shelton in the MSC days, CM Punk, Undertaker (not in 02/03, not broken down Taker), Eddie, Rock, and the No DQ match with John Cena. The WM 04 match with Goldberg sucked in-ring wise, but that atmosphere is one that rarely happens. He had some nice matches with Big Show as well back in 03. Also, he was apart of Rollins' GOAT cash-in, selling the shyt out that Curb Stomp (Brock has always been a good seller). I can't fault him much for his most recent run where he's been lazy. I'd probably be lazy too in the current soft ass WWE climate, especially being in the middle of a bidding war with the UFC all the time. I really don't have much negative to say about Brock. It's not his fault that Vince backs the brinks truck up for him to wipe out a roster that the WWE barely cares for in the first place.

Also, anyone that demolishes or embarrasses Hulk Hogan is cool with me.

The '15 Undertaker feud sucked. In his WWE career, that may be one of his lone bad feuds.

C'mon man its Brock Lesnar. Even if I haven't been paying attention to wrestling for the past year I still know the man is a ranked SSS for life. If he was a face he could probably reach DBZ God Status.

Mic-5. Limited but very convincing in taped segments.

Star power/presence-10. He wrestles, looks, and carries himself like a superhuman.

Ring-10. This run has had some standouts, some of you are just getting worked by this "he doesn't care storyline" that's aimed at putting Roman over. Vs Joe, Vs Cena multiple times, triple threat vs Rollins and Cena, first time vs Reigns... Everybody loved the Punk match at the time too.

No memorable promo, he is athletic but never saw a match of his that made me feel any emotion.
Just a freak athlete but subpar entertainer.
