Personally, I'd rather watch Punk than Bryan peak for peak. I admit Bryan is a better wrestler and reached higher heights than Punk though.

I never fully rocked with face Bryan even though he more than deserved everything and every bit of admiration he received from the fans. Punk had a more edge character wise a little bit better to me personally when his character was clicking.

Punk had like 2.4s every week until Rock program started and the ratings went up. Rock won the belt..instant sell outs and they almost hit 4.0 the next night. Lol.

The gap for in ring performance is bigger than the gap for promo/character work imo. That's why I give Bryan the nod.

I mean, peak Punk is better overall but he very rarely got to that level and he could be fukking horrible waaay more than Bryan.

He loved shytting on the german fans and that tournament was the prime example of it, it's one of the best performances by a wrestler I've seen. He was also pretty great in Chikara as the a$$hole. Bryan being a "wink wink" heel in ROH isn't the only thing he did as a bad guy.

It takes a special type of heel to get the hardcore fans to boo you when they know how great you are. Punk could get that.

Bryan. CM Punk's people problems tarnishes his legacy. Bryan is going to be regarded as the greatest overachiever in Wrestling considering his height. He also is loved by fellow wrestlers for making them look good.

I hold Punk being great in the short term, but he is self destructive.
