That Cody promo is a clear cut number one for me. Everything else is just bad wrestling, but Cody offended me on a deeply personal level. With other racist promos like HHH and Booker or Harley Race and Ron Simmons you can at least say they were heels getting heat. But Cody genuinely thought he was cutting a top tier babyface promo, which is sickening.

Man that was cataclysmic....aew had some sketch business practices which directly effected impact and roh. Business is business but the only company to benefit so far is NWA and he complained because they didn't pat him on the back publicly.

At some point people have to actually think smarter on this point.

"Budget cuts" means "we don't want to pay this person anymore" without burying the person. It isn't "we can't afford to pay this person anymore" and only a fool would continue thinking so during their record profit run.

Budget cuts is the same as "eliminating your position" or "going in a new direction". Meltz and Robin Alvarez are so disingenuous on this talking point...

At some point people are going to have to realize that a company touting record profits right before firing half it's talent due to "budget cuts" is a shytty way to handle that situation and all the "this is how the real world of business works" juelzing doesn't change that it's a dikk move on WWE's part.
Nobody believes the budget cut line; people just think WWE is trifling for using it as their excuse. They can let people go without burying anyone and a company who gave even a scintilla of a damn about how they come across to the public would take the time to come up with something that doesn't insult people's intelligence.
