Really tired of litigating this but ALL IN was an aew proof of concept that roh supported. Roh built its entire main event and roster really around guys who would defect and leave for AEW. Dont believe me go look at the talent flow from

AEW took the top billed roh talent with the exception of marty who bet on himself, and jay who wasnt with the elite and is now an aew youtube show wrestler, and killed their msg show especially which was going to be the biggest non wwe ppv in nyc ever. It is no different than wwf making rock n wrestling from mid south and awa guys and out bidding vern gagne and whatnot.

so, either Vince McMahon was a good businessman and did nothing unethical in the 80s to awa, midsouth and the territories, or tony khan raided ROH and other indys and is as moneygrubbing as vince was then. Your choice.

AEW didn't "take" anyone from ROH. ROH had shytty management where all of their top talent had contracts that expired at the same time, and all of them wanted to stay but the higher ups wouldn't give them more money. The Elite guys have literally said AEW wouldn't exist if ROH had given them a pay bump when their contracts were up. The MSG show was still sold out without them. ROH management and Sinclair utterly fukked ROH. The Elite and NJ guest stars were the only thing keeping ROH afloat. They literally went from doing 7500 to selling out MSG to doing under 400 in the audience because outside of the guys they were getting from NJ (including The Elite), their roster wasn't drawing shyt.
