Other options would policing our own communities, starting businesses amd provinding jobs, and dismantling the culture of decadence that has gripped the youth. These are all things that we have failed abysmally. No amount of government force is going to stop the economic depravity (which stems from lack of economic unity) and social decadence.

Sending in the feds is temporary issue but is a necessary one

I dont give a happy fukk where u live, youre not going to tell me about what I experience. I walk anywhere from Roosevelt to 27th everyday and get bothered by all kinda bullshyt. I walked outside a store in May and was robbed by a damn jogger...nikka literally had on running clothes and was jogging.

So, what is the best solution? I agree with sending in Black troops to police their own community. However, Trump sending them in will target the innocent. Just like in the 80's with Reagan.

Ask anyone who was living on 12th Street and Clairmont in Detroit in 1967 if having the feds around made the "sleep easy". No its no easy to sleep when the national guard tells you "come out side and you will be shot".

I hope the people in this thread supporting this "tough on crime" nonsense(the ones who are actually black) realize that Chicago doesn't even have the highest crime rate. All Chicago is is a symbol for right wingers that needs to be dealt with. They couldn't care less about those communities.

You can't assume they don't care about others pains... it doesn't take away the need to be more conscious of self's immediate quality of life...

Statistics & Numbers & Titles mean nothing when people are simply not feeling safe merely walking to school. We can quote numbers & charts & stats all day & none of that matters to the people who live in fear of those whose complexion mirrors theirs.

There are many dangerous cities & neighborhoods in America... some more than others yes... but that doesn't take away the fact that there are people who at the end of the day are actually living in fear night in & night out regardless of city.

Fair point, but if those same "goons" got access to a safe living wage, best believe those crime stats would decrease. Instead of millions of tax dollars being wasted on the Chicago PD(and soon federal agents), take that money and establish trade programs/jobs. But we all know why that won't happen, so Imma stop posting.

I support this. Yall can say whatever but youre not living it. We now have a place in South Loop...the shyt I endure walking with my child on South Michigan Ave... This is supposed to be the safe part. I cant even imagine living further south. I love Chicago but the crime is making this place unbearable. Something has to be done.
