Nah trust me I get it. Elon wants a china situation where he can fail fast and adjust on someone else's dime lol. It's how china can get shyt done because of the state capitalism. My assumption is Elon doesn't care Anout MAGA but trump is his now or never moment to find someone who will trust him enough to get free reign. Elon is likely a racist but i overt stuff is imo a trojan horse to get trump's people to trust him too and not ask questions.

If Elon is successful he can sell his USA proof of concept to world governments and stop chinas momentum (who needs 10k dollar cars when the robo taxi can do it and potentially generate revenue for people is the sales pitch)

Square biz. This is all monopoly and a rat race. Not so much political gain involving Musk. Trust, the moment dude get immunity to do fukk all, the mask will come off and he will end up going into his own steez.

I just hate the other US automakers are so ass that we have to follow the lead of Tesla by way of Elon. US Automakers should have been leading the world with Auto Tech or at a min doing co collabs with Japan and South Korean to shape the world as a counter to china.

I often side with technology and innovation.

This dude sounds like a snake oil salesman. He is decent at taking existing designs and making them more efficient, but all of this other nonsense he talks about, I never really believe in it.

I'm sure he will allocate billions in contracts to SpaceX though.
