What Trump is doing is sending people to jail without any type of due process and what that allows Trump and his ilk to do is define 'criminal' on their own terms and then using poorer countries as an extension of the United States prison industrial complex. that's the truly tragic thing about living here in this country. you can't have a true system of justice because of this country's racial situation. otherwise i'd say good riddance, because it's an excellent idea. let the prison system here be for those non-violent offenders. let them go through the programs that help them lead productive lives when they get out, or for the wealthy white collar financial criminals and scammers who are there because of greed, let prison be where they work off their restitutions making a dollar an hour.
