Yup, my homegirl went to law school and has been working for the county as an advocate instead of going to a private firm specifically for loan forgiveness. It's a good program too, incentivises new Dr.s to work work in low income or public hospitals as well. They already are strict about what jobs are and are not allowed, documentation and requirements. Killing it would be kinda bad across the board.

I forgot that this program also applies to health professionals working in underserved areas. No one from a U.S. Med school is gonna work in bumfukk West Virginia because they don't have a large enough patient base to make enough money to pay off those school loans. Same deal with pharmacists, dentists, and lawyers.

This is like the only way they can attract talent. A potus should be aware of this

Because the majority of our people don’t even go to college let alone graduate. I’m 40k in debt myself but It’s not just about me and my special situation. Guess what? Even with my debt I’m almost guaranteed to be better off than most of my community cause having a degree is literally that much of a boost.

Some of our people can’t even eat and we trying to literally give people making 6 figures free money, shyt is sickening.

if we forgiving debt then you gotta be in the lower income bracket, everyone else can fukk off.. myself included

I'll never hold my breath for student loan forgiveness, especially because the main group of people it will benefit the most is the very same group that gets shytted on the most in society: millennials (and a few Gen X'ers who went to school later or got an advanced degree).
