Then down the line obstruct the building of the wall. Make them use the money on impact studies, certain types of building materials, vetting of companies etc etc. Make the thing go over budget. Have Trump squander the original funding before a brick is laid. By then the Dreamers are in and they can hold additional funding hostage for another issue. They did this last deadline, but Trump shot it down because we weren't curtailing legal immigration because he doesn't want people non White immigrants.

Trump isn't reasonable, he has very little understanding of the information surrounding his positions ,no desire to negotiate in good faith, is a liar, and an idiot who lacks any intellectual curiosity or self awareness.

Now that he has a proposal he came up with (Kelly and miller) I don't he will entertain anything else because that would mean he doesn't get the credit he deserves.
