You have obviously never picked up a sports science textbook talking about misinformation.

Strength is force production...using just your bodyweight is not optimal for the development of pure strength because theres not enough external resistance....someone training with a barbell and more weight will always be stronger than you.. regardless.

And why you acting like detraining doesn't occur when you stop doing calisthenics?

Do one get strong....do both be stronger...

You dudes on here always talking about a book. It’s 2020 all that shyt in them books is bro science.

Again calisthenics>weights

Never said strength doesn’t go away if you stop calisthenics,it’ll stick around a lot longer than the weight strength tho

This won’t work. I’m prepared to start training clients at home. La fitness is gonna be dead :ld:

i dont want anyone to lose their job. but i go to LA fitness adn these nikkas dont clean under regular circumstances. alll the way upto being forced to close they didnt send out one contact email as literally every business did to say the precautions they were taking.

if they go under part of me will be ecstatic. the other part will be upset cuz the gym around here are trash and they have the best facilities.

Be a statistic in a peer-reviewed paper proving how heavy breathing contributes to the spread of the coronavirus and how long the virus lasts on dumb bells and other surfaces brehs.

Unless nikkas working out in hazmat suits and oxygen tanks, I don't see how this shyt can work.

This is an all-around terrible plan, and I love the gym. I'm assuming 24 hour gyms will only operate during staffed hours with most people working out around 8am and 5pm as a lot still work.. the backlash gyms will get with facilitating the amount of people in them will be overwhelming. Not to mention, the staff would have to clean the machines constantly. This will not end well.

lmao i just went thru the thread. im in the gym 6 days a week.

1. cuz i want be healthy
2. cuz i want to be strong
3. so i look good naked
4. its therapuetic

yes, i know gyms are nasty from the jump. but that doesntmean we should just go back just cuz they are already nasty. nikkas gonna be on treadmills breathing hard accidently spitting on the equipment, coughing on/around equipment then touching the list goes on. my number on concern is gym are full of old heads

how can you open a gym when germs are exchanged at a high rate there already and tons have your highest at risk group.

i miss the gym. i spend 2 hours there starting at 5am lifting and hoopin. but im not about to myself at risk. or any of my old friends there. ill make new physical goals that i can do at home and/or outside. we will get back there when its safe and time.

I ain’t mad I know. Used to work at a college rec center for one of the top rated research schools/facilities in the us and them doctors still wouldn’t wash their hands in the bathroom

I always said its gonna get worse before it gets better and this is exactly what i mean. They gonna open stuff back up again only to see the numbers skyrocket even faster then they gonna shut down everything all over again but this time we gonna stay shut down.

I dunno, once its open I think its gonna stay open. Maybe cases surge but I dont see another shutdown coming. Its too much strain on the economy.

I think they underestimated the impact initially and that's why they are pressing to open up again....
