I wouldn’t.I really don't know why they were still there. I would've been looking for another job and submitted my resignation on Jan 17th.
Depends on how you define DEI. Most Federal employees were hired under some DEI style program.
When I was getting out of the Army they had a dude who was blind and in a wheelchair from the department of Labor saying how accommodating the Federal Goverment is to the disabled. This was a white guy.
So if we’re removing DEI hires all those Veterans and schedule A employees ( regular disabled employees) would have to go.
Also people don’t know that Teach for America, Peace Corps and some recent College graduates all get special hiring considerations so they would all have to go too.
Most of these executive orders will be tied up in court battles and slow walked. Most Federal workers will be alright.
