Keep doing what I have been doing. Supporting my people through technology and education initiatives. Keep fighting against police brutality as a member of the POP. Keep voting an promoting a pro reparations and pro civil/labor organizations to make sure my people have fair opportunities to succeed. As a constituent I will hold President elect Biden and Harris to not only say what they are going to do but keep the promises they made and to not make so nice with Republicans if they stand in the way.

But at this very moment. I'm doordashing some food sipping an ice cold rootbeer and preparing for the fukkery of post presidency Trump.

If anyone even reads this...

As a “No tangibles, no vote” type of breh, I can honestly say that I’m somewhat happy that Trump is on his way out. I’m enjoying seeing MAGA supporters lose their shyt.
:ehh:

I can also admit that it feels okay having a woman of partial African descent as Vice President. Even though it’s only a symbolic gesture and she’s essentially anti-Black American, I know that it upsets White Supremacists, which I can appreciate.
:jbhmm:

My question is “now what?”. Are you hardcore Democrat brehs going to hold them accountable? History tells us that you will not.
:francis:

You all had every excuse for Obama... “He just got in there! Give him a chance! He has to clean up the Republicans’ mess! They won’t let him do anything for Black People! But Bill Clinton plays the saxophone and got his dikk sucked!”

I’m expecting the majority of you to continue the excuses and the Juelz-ing throughout the Biden administration too. Then four years from now, you’ll tell us to just shut up and vote Democrat again.
:yeshrug:

I will also say that I am proud of the many brehs that stated that this election was the last straw. The brehs who stated that they solely wanted to get Trump out, and that this was the last election they’d blindly support the Democratic Party without tangibles in return. I see you brehs. 2024 will be here faster than you think.
:myman:
Negged for not voting and being part of the reason this was even a close race.
Had this gone a bit different, had not enough non-losers stepped up it had been 4 more years.

You inadvertently supported the possible reelection of a White Supremacist.

You claim you’re pro-Black? Lol

The police, the killers of Black men, get full support from Trump.

The racist organizations who hate us, get full support from Trump.

If you’re dumb to the point that you think “we not voting” in your bio is something to be proud of, I can’t expect you to get what’s at stake.

You and the tangibles crowd make a point, there needs to be a clear plan for Black people. That said: keeping a true White Supremacist in power through non-action defeats your purpose.

Think, then do..

So what if Ice Cube gets critiqued? That's politics.

our progress as a people does not begin and end on entertainers, politicians, youtubers

it never did.

You’ve got a point.
:yeshrug:

But we’re not nearly “on code” as we should be.

I can respect it. It seems to benefit brothers and sisters like you directly.
:ehh:

Add mortgage elimination or extensive tax breaks for ADOS/FBA homeowners, and it’d be perfect. Throw in tuition elimination at certain schools up until 2050 (just like many Native American reservation tribes), and it would be even better.
:yeshrug:
More and more stuff like this, just exclusive to black folks, and I'll be there day and date for Dems in 2024.

Yall nikkas need to give it time. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours yet and the man hasn't even been inaugurated. What do you expect to happen in 6 hours? :mjlol:

If some time has passed and its blatant that Biden has given Black people his ass to kiss, then we can talk. But it hasn't even been a whole day yet. Let's see how he does...and most importantly, how he ackbowoedges Stacey Abram's part in getting those GA voters out.

Proud for what? There will always be a new boogeyman to vote out of office. There will always be a reason to sacrifice long term strategy for short term, symbolic gains.

That doesn’t tell the whole story though.
