i dont usually say nothing about politics on this site because i could tell the type of time nikkas are on just by reading through it
the biggest problem is that its specific subsections of nikkas that know so little about how the american political system works that political discussion is always centered around either reparations or democrats and republicans being the same
and the same conversations keep happening because nikkas don't even know what they dont know, it always ends up being democrats dont do shyt for black people so why even vote for them
if the goal is to genuinely have some type of political discussion and make moves going forward to benefit black folk, you absolutely have to be informed as to how politics work in this country
if you just want to throw emojis around on some high school shyt then say that, it all jokes then
but if you legitimately want to speak on political avenues for black folk, understanding the power the senate holds over federal government is by far the most important issue when speaking on the president and why he does and doesn't do things
it's not "excuses", the democrats can't do shyt legislation wise if they don't hold the senate
you're setting yourself up now to have the same discussion in four years if you don't comprehend that, if you want to put pressure on democrats they have to be in a position to make legislative changes and that only comes with control over the senate
