but we have to realize that we depend/rely on us and our community in order to make shyt happen
it's people around you doing the work that improves the lives of black folk around you.

Well, you can't hold Biden accountable until it's time to vote again. You can prop up a challenger in the primaries in the event he doesn't make due on his lackluster black agenda, and whatever other grievances pop up throughout his term.
But midterms are where it's at. Reparations is my number one priority, so HR40 supporting candidates who are in favor of fixing the bill, then passing it, should be favored. Federal designation for ADOS is another big one for me and should be demanded. If those demands aren't agreed to, don't vote for them. Depending on where the COVID situation is though, black voters might stick with "vote blue no matter who." I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

Most black folks who attend college take out loans and are in significant debt. So, I definitely won't be the only black person who will get to enjoy this benefit.

Add mortgage elimination or extensive tax breaks for ADOS/FBA homeowners, and it’d be perfect. Throw in tuition elimination at certain schools up until 2050 (just like many Native American reservation tribes), and it would be even better.
