The issue is that candidates will campaign on helping black people, then forget about us until it's time for re-election. Afterwards, it's either one of two options:
A. We fall for it again.
B. We don't vote, a republican wins, we realize that most of them are slimeballs, then elect a Democrat that campaigns on being the one that follows through on his pledges to the black community. Rinse and repeat the first paragraph.
All I'm saying is that it's not completely ridiculous for some people to not vote. After awhile, the games come election year become tiring.

The borders aren't opened. The president doesn't have some of the emergency pandemic era power he once did so you can't legally do Trumps border policy currently. Democrats are willing to pass a bill to do that policy again and Republicans don't want to because they want to campaign on it.

Yeah, and Biden hilariously enough, is the one trying to push forward legislation that the republicans are blocking. Why?
1. Because it makes Biden look too good.
2. Because republicans have NEVER done anything about immigration. They need it, they corporate elites they support need it, and it contradicts with their capitalistic ideas. I.E. profit.
So they wont get rid of anything, they will always simply use it as a talking point during election time to convince people less informed than I am, that they are the "anti-immigration" party.
