Independents went for Trump in 2016 and he eeked out a victory. Nowhere and I mean nowhere did I say Hillary was a far left radical(that is from your own lips and yours only). This isn't as black and white as many here want it to be so they can sound smart(dumb).

That will lead to a downturn in voter turnout. It will cause an uptick in one category but you'll lose others. Turnout won't remain high across major types of voters. You guys really don't think things through. I wish we could actually afford to run somebody like Sanders and Warren so you guys can actually see first hand how US politics really works. That “don’t go too far left” narrative has been around for decades and it’s been used to keep propping the same establishment dems. They know what they’re doing. Every time there’s a challenger to the status quo that’s how they attack them. Hell they even tried it with Obama at first.

They don’t really want change, and people like you are too scared to demand it.

Democrats have to run a middle of the road candidate. If they veer too far left they alienate voters they need to win. Partisan voters don't decide elections. Independents do. Been this way for decades. Suddenly dudes act like the rules should be different 'cause Trump. Nah.

Regardless of whether this is right/wrong, notice that you run a middle of the road candidate...not because they have the best platform, but because you don’t want to alienate independents or other voters. Says a lot about the state of things.

It’d be one thing if say Biden actually had a platform worth supporting but relative to other Democratic candidates he doesn’t.
