they have to find someway somehow to sell it to their voter base as well. When you see them being silent this is what is going on. You are about to see people jump up and speak on this that were silent about Ukraine, which is a little too complicated for the average voter to really grasp.

If they were in a town hall it would literally be impossible to explain to right wingers that you can't ask a foreign power to investigate a political rival.
