Will it be publicly funded though? It wasn't all that clear where the money was coming from.

I'd rather see that money spent on real infrastructure before "AI infrastructure". Fix these crumbling bridges and roads, update and expand city metro systems, expand the EV charging network, invest in renewable energy, build high speed rail.

I think the opposite actually.

People who know their stuff are going to be highly valuable using A.I to bolster and multiply their work.

If one company has one engineer using A.I and another has 10 using A.I the first company falls behind x100 to x1000 to their competitor and that difference adds up everyday.

That’s basically what quant companies found out.
