He's not a lock at all to win and continuing to echo that sentiment might end up doing more harm than good at this point. Dude didn't even win the popular vote in 2016. If you want a good predictor just check both candidates' momentums in swing states, the rest of the country is pretty much gridlocked in terms of leaning left / right. Staying defeatist this close to the election IMO discourages on the fence voters / people who are checked out of the political process from believing their vote is going to matter. It might have been a smart way of looking at things 6-8 months ago since we were farther away with more variables up in the air, but right now is the time for people (who still have faith in democracy that is) to believe Biden can win.
