"The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat." :dahell:

That reads to me more like a subtle bribe offer or plea for some sort of way out of trouble than a threat.

If you stretch you can say he's taking credit for the country being on fire and suggesting he can ramp up the heat, but I don't read it that way.

I'd agree if this was a state case but you're not bribing the DOJ. And certainly not the FBI after disclosing the names of the agents who were serving the warrant. I wouldn't call it a threat but moreso an acknowledgement of reality, which is that if Trump is indicted/arrested there will be violence. Everyone knows it. Official republican policy will be that the FBI should be dismantled, and the next republican president will politicize the DOJ in obscene ways we haven't seen since the 60s.

I've been trying to figure out how Trump gets out of this, since that's what he normally does. And even in the best case scenario he still gets indicted/arrested. To me best case scenario for him is that happens and the federal case is tried in Florida instead of DC. There's zero chance he gets found guilty in Florida, in my opinion.

@Piff Perkins in your estimate what month do you see Trump getting indicted/arrested?

Please
Biden's corpse is besting any republican. Desantis is a trump wannabe though he's smart enough to do his fascism on the low. He doesn't poll well enough and Trump has the party in a death grip.
Joey B baiting Trump to run right now. Trump the only Republican candidate he can actually beat :hubie:
