Just going to leave this here.
Trump has floated sending American citizens there as well. Just to keep it short, imagine being accused (emphasis here) of a crime and being disappeared into a prison in another country where people have been killed and tortured and trying to engage in your constitutionally protected rights to defend yourself
I’m not going to insult people because it’s tiring at this point. Claims of “fearmongering” is really a coping mechanism because really it’s just a shorthand way of saying “that will never happen” which is said because people have a habit of assuming how things were yesterday is how they will be tomorrow. No particular reality is guaranteed. History is filled with examples of shifting systems people live under and shifts from democratic to authoritarian systems all the time.
On a slightly related note, I was reading about the German Peasant War from the 1500’s recently and its interesting to read as to what type of system I believe these techno fascists and our “aristocracy” want to revert back to. I recommend reading the section about the different social classes in particular and the type of injustices peasants dealt with. Of course, since this time, Germany in this example went through liberalization/democratization to authoritarianism and then back to democratic form of government and is once again dealing with creeping authoritarianism again with the rise of the AfD. Keep this in mind when you think “that won’t happen” “that is fearmongering” “they can’t/wont do that”. Nothing is guaranteed.

Also, you being concerned on an Intenet message board. How is that improving anything? There is no action attached to it.
What's more likely is that a fair amount of these people will be deported, far less than the number that came over. Immigration will slow to a crawl for a bit and there may be some longtail effects on labor, good and bad.
It's likely there will be a renewed war on drugs, but it will do little to solve the fentanyl problems in Maine, or New Haven, or Frederick, MD or South Tucson, AZ.
There will be no great economic collapse. There will be no indiscriminate rounding up of U.S. citizens.
People, you included, will go on with their lives and react to the next media blitz story that's thrown on their feed.
