I'm really hoping my business background helps. I've heard a lot of people saying there's too many Poli-Sci majors in law school, I'm trying to work for a big company and maybe go in to HR someday

Nothing breaks my heart more than seeing a little child with they're broke ass parent having to sit in the heat waiting for a bus. Yes, love is important and is more important than anything else, but how the hell do you justify being broke and still deciding to have kids?
I'm not saying you should be a millionaire or anything, but you should be MORE than able to support yourself before you add kids in the picture. If you can't afford a car, then you can't afford a kid
My parents both grew up in Nigerian villages and scratched and clawed their way in to schools so they could travel to the US and go to college here. Me and my siblings all went to private schools and great universities, that's the way it should be. Each generation's purpose should be that the following generation has it easier than they did, why even have kids if they're not gonna have it better than you?
I didn't bother reading all the comments in this thread so I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this or not
but the simple answer is that human beings are animals, hominids in particular. A subspecies of the great apes which resides within the primate mammalian branch.
Even with all our great intellect and huge brains when it all comes down to it we're still primitive animals with hormonal instincts, this is why irrational things like wars, fights and murder still happen amongst a species that travels to space, builds sophisticated computers/tech and grows our own organs.
in short, humans like to fuk, that's why there are so many poor people and poor kids
I do agree that it's selfish tho, but the average human being isn't disciplined enough to realize that they should wait and get their paper straight before they have kids. Hormones and basic natural instinct are more powerful than logic and reason in most people.

Untrue. You can't determine if someone is selfish based off of the fact that they're having a child. In fact, having and raising a child can be one of the most selfless acts a person can do in their lives. Just because their finances might not be in order doesn't mean they're greedy or out for their own happiness. Let's talk about how people with their finances in order leave their children in the care of someone else or how they don't spend time with their kids because they've so focused on work and instead use their money to buy their kids all this shyt they don't need which breeds instant gratification within the child, which is the seed of selfishness.

so by your rationale....damn near nobody from your homeland should have kids...since a vast majority of them cant support them without help from the UN?
in some ways i agree with you...you should be able to support yourself...at the very least...but you gonna do? if there was some kind of mandate, there would be mostly white babies being born...so that would never fly...its an interesdting question tho
