If the restaurant had the same menu, same food, same music but....70% of the diners were white and the owners were white....they would not twerk.

yes its was a big thread on here a couple months back dude graduated from Southern University Law Center and he made a harmless IG post bragging about he was the prize when he graduated and BW on social media was tearing him down for weeks there was even some so called "i got a phd/masters/doctorate" types talking about they are gonna contact southern to strip him of his degree.

When the incident 1st happened i was reading the comments heavy a good amount of the women on his comment section i saw for that post was saying that. When i checked they profile most of had the usually Masters/PhD/Graduate IG Bio hashtags you see nowadays

....Man. I don't know what to say. It's fortunate that they were unsuccessful with that tactic but I feel that something like that might work intermittently.

For awhile I've had this sorta irrational fear of being a victim of cancel culture. I some times feel like we black men are paralyzed. Like we can't say or do anything that can potentially hurt the feelings of black women because retaliatory actions from them may have negative financial/legal implications. That the whole 'cancel culture' phenomenon can extend to real life. A disagreement about something frivolous like the weather or sports can lead a black girl to go to your job to get you fired, or convinces your school to expel you, or go down to city hall to have your business license revoked. Crazy shyt like that.

It sounds extreme but there are some legitimately crazy people out there. They'll proudly serve as agents of white supremacy and do everything and anything they can to ruin your life. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a group of angry women working in concert with the local government to get that restaurant shut down.

The fact that someone fixed their mind to think, "Yeah I gotta contact his school to strip him of his degree" is extraordinary. I've never witnessed anyone's thinking go THAT direction.
