Because most of this vitriol directed towards these so called “ ratchets” seem to be cloaked in anti-blackness, thinly disguised as respectability politics. Our culture is so unique, and for any black person to allow such myopic views about certain members of our community to be loudly extolled by god knows who is troubling to me

Did the menu have M.P. next to the entrees? Yeah, if there is no price shown, then it must be an upscale establishment that caters to a specific clientele.
